Update March 10: Critical Security Updates for Windows 98/ME (see below)

For this month Microsoft did not have any Security Updates available. On the Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification page there is only the following Information:
Microsoft has no new security bulletins to release as part of the monthly release cycle for the month of March.
The next Security Bulletin Advance Notification is scheduled for Thursday April 7, 2005, and will outline information for the Tuesday April 12, 2005 security bulletin release.

Update March 10: Microsoft has updated the following Security Bulletins for Window 98 and Windows ME:

  • MS05-002 Vulnerability in Cursor and Icon Format Handling Could Allow Remote Code Execution (891711) Critical
  • MS05-015 - Vulnerability in Hyperlink Object Library Could Allow Remote Code Execution (888113) Critical
Run Windows Update (with Internet Explorer) on all the Windows 98/ME Workstations to install the Security Updates.
