  DNS outage
Network Posted by Beat Rubischon on Thursday November 25, @08:53PM
from the bumm-baeng-crash dept.
Since 17:50, one of the two DNS-Servers of ETHZ is offline. You will notice a really bad responsiveness of the network and all of our services. We need to wait until the central IT support will react. See details for more information.

17:50 - dns3.ethz.ch went down.

20:45 - our main servers are now reconfigured to use the working DNS server.

21:20 - our DHCP server reconfigured to no longer distribute the IP of the bad DNS server.

07:31 - dns3 is back.

The planned update will be done next week and announced here.
