  Microsoft Security Bulletins March 2004

Last night Microsoft has released the following monthly Security Bulletins: For users of Office XP / Outlook 2002 the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-009 is critical, check Office Update on the Microsoft Office Downloads Home Page.

Update 11-Mar-2004: Microsoft did revise the Office Security Bulletin, the Severity Rating is now Critical. The update should be applied immediately.

If you are using MSN Messenger also read the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-010 and install the needed update.

If you are running Windows Media Services on a Windows 2000 Server also read the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-008 and install the needed update.

Update 11-Mar-2004: Microsoft revised the Office Security Bulletin Summary for March 2004 last night. The Severity Rating of MS04-009 Vulnerability in Microsoft Outlook Could Allow Code Execution (828040) has changed from Important to Critical.
Also Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) is available, which also contains this update.
