Migration to new fileserver

After the crash of obstalden, we set up a new fileserver for the homes of our users. In the next days, we will migrate all homedirectories to this server. Read on to know what happens.

Update: All homes are moved now. Have fun!

To see, where your home is located, go to the Account information. Our timetable looks like this:

Sat 08.03.03 firstlab:/export/scratch - done
Sun 09.03.03 firstlab:/export/home1 - done
Sat 15.03.03 feschti:/export/home1 - done
Sun 16.03.03 firstlab:/export/home2 - done

During migration, we will continue to serve you your home read-only and after the migration, we will log you out to give you access to the new home. After migration, your home will be located on sardona.ethz.ch.
