  Webmail updates

We have updated our webmail services for all you road warriors out there. The well-known webmail.phys.ethz.ch URL now offers two separate webmail solutions:
  • a newer version of our trusty TWIG system and
  • the state of the art, AJAXified Roundcube webmail.
Read on for suggestions on which system to use when...
TWIG and Roundcube have complementary requirements and benefits:
  • TWIG is simple and static, giving virtually any OS/browser combination access to your e-mail. It's also light on bandwidth.
  • Roundcube offers a modern, desktop-like interface with drag'n'drop. It makes heavy use of AJAX and hence requires a Javascript-capable browser.
Please read this readme when using Roundcube for the first time.
