  Changed spam processing
Annoucements Posted by Beat Rubischon on Tuesday February 21, @02:53PM
from the spiced-ham dept.
During the last two days, we changed the processing of incoming spam mails on our mailserver. Read on for more information.
First, we upgraded SpamAssassin from 3.0 to 3.1. A mail must now pass more than 780 tests, several external blacklists and some custom rules before our server decides about good mail or bad mail.

Second, all mails recognised as spam are now delivered to a personal mailbox called SpamBox in your IMAP folder collection. Most mailclients including our webmail would not show this folder until you subscribe to it. Mails in this folder are automatically deleted after 45 days. The current spamcollection is converted and you have now access to all your mails since the beginning of this year.

Use this folder in case you are missing an email or to teach the bayesian filter of your mailclient. And of course when you are looking for generic herbal Viagra. ;-) On the other hand, be careful when looking through this folder. Bad things may happen!
