  Microsoft Security Bulletin July 2005

On Tuesday evening Microsoft has released the Security Bulletin Summary for July, 2005. There are 3 critical and also 1 rereleased updates.
Run Windows Update (with Internet Explorer) on all the Windows Workstations and Servers to install the Security Updates.

  • MS05-035 - Vulnerability in Microsoft Word Could Allow Remote Code Execution (903672) Critical
  • MS05-036 - Vulnerability in Microsoft Color Management Module Could Allow Remote Code Execution (901214) Critical
  • MS05-037 - Vulnerability in JView Profiler Could Allow Remote Code Execution (903235) Critical
  • MS05-033 - Vulnerability in Telnet Client Could Allow Information Disclosure (896428) Moderate, rerelased
Since a few weeks there is the new Microsoft Update available which can update Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 and also other Microsoft Applications like MS Office, Exchange or SQL server.
