On June 28 Microsoft has released the Microsoft Security Advisory (891861) - Release of Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4), which also contains critical Security Updates. Currently this update is only available through Windows Update and not yet through Auto Update. Yesterday Jean-Baptiste Marchand has relased the article NULL sessions vulnerabilities using alternate named pipes which describes a problem that is fixed with the Update Rollup 1.
