Since April, 1st, Cablecom via ETH is no longer available. The central IT services sent out a mail regarding the need for VPN to be able to send mail from home. This is not necessary with your @phys.ethz.ch account: Just enter your login in the configuration of the outgoing mailserver, activate encryption (SSL / TLS) and send your mails from everywhere. See our readme for details.
Also some news for ADSL customers like me: PPPoA offers some nice speed and quality improvements over PPPoE. Contributions to this page are welcome :-)
