  Kernel update
Linux Posted by Beat Rubischon on Tuesday December 28, @12:30PM
from the patchwork dept.
Several flaws were detected in the Linux kernel shortly before christmas. See the SuSE advisory for a complete list. Linux 2.6.10 and 2.4.29-pre3 contains all fixes. We will reboot all servers and managed workstations on Wednesday, December 29 between 07:00 and 09:00.

Update: all servers and workstations are up to date. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Currently, hacking of PHP driven sites is much more trendy. There are allready some worms around an I assume, that we would not need to patch any more kernels this year.
