  No more telnet
Security Posted by Beat Rubischon on Tuesday September 21, @09:06AM

Our mailserver wiggis (also known as newyork) was the last host accessible by telnet. Due to a security problem in Debian's telnetd we decided to switch off this service entirely. Please switch to ssh when accessing to one of our systems.

See our tutorial how to use ssh. For simple access, we offer you also a local mirror of PuTTY for Windows and Niftytelnet SSH for MacOS 7/8/9.
