  Mailserver service
Annoucements Posted by Beat Rubischon on Friday September 17, @10:49AM

About the half of the mailfolders on our mailserver needs an conversion to a more powerful format. To keep disruption small, we scheduled this conversion to monday morning.

Update: Upgrade is done. Have fun!

Several of the 62 GBytes mailfiles were created as mbox and not as the much faster mbx format. The conversion takes about one and a half hours. To be sure to not loose any mails, we need to stop the imap server.

May be you notified the crash this morning - this was not the above problem, it was a loose connection between two VHDCI SCSI-Connectors:

VHDCI female VHDCI male

This images shows quite the natural size of the connectors and they contains 68 pins. Not all modern things are automatically good...
