  Linux kernel problem
Linux Posted by Beat Rubischon on Thursday April 15, @05:18PM
from the patch-and-reboot dept.
A security problem in the iso9660 filesystem of the Linux Kernel below 2.4.26 was discovered. See the advisory from SuSE.

Update: All our managed workstations are now rebooted.

Non priviledged users which are able to mount CD-ROMs could crash the system or gain root access. Much more is fixed in 2.4.26, see the ChangeLog.

Please fix your local workstation by installing a current kernel from your distributor or from source.
