Tip of the week Posted by Beat Rubischon on Tuesday March 02, @04:55PM
from the try-it-out dept.
Do you know Linux? FreeBSD? No? We offer you to try those operating systems without installing on your harddrive. Just download Knoppix (Screenshot, Mirror) or FreeSBIE (Screenshot, Mirror)from our mirror, burn it on a CD and boot it in your PC.

Your current installation wont be touched and you could have a look on those systems before installing. Network is working on both systems for all registered computers.

In case you like Linux, feel free to install our favorite Debian GNU/Linux from our local mirror.

Some help how to use your installation may be found on the documentation pages of the Linux User Group Switzerland.
