  Problems with Internet Explorer
Microsoft Posted by Beat Rubischon on Friday October 03, @08:40AM
from the bugs-without-patches dept.
Internet Explorer running on Windows has several known but yet unpatched problems. There is now a trojan called Qhosts which changes several settings in your windows installation. You may get it by simple visiting a website.
Update: There is now a patch on http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ Please update your Windows workstation as soon as possible.

As a workaround until the patch from Microsoft arrives, you should use an alternate browser like Mozilla or Opera.

More information on Symlink and Heise.
