A new Windows email virus called W32/Sobig.f@MM is on the way. During a short time yesterday afternoon, some of them seems to be passed through our virus filter on the mailserver. Read on if you manage your own windows workstation...

It tooks some time for NAI to update the data file. During this time, several mails containing W32/Sobig.f@MM passed our mailserver and were delivered to users.

Please update your antivirus software (the latest datafiles knows about W32/Sobig.f@MM) and scan your machine to be sure that you have no such virus on your disks.

During the last 20 hours, where our scanner knows about W32/Sobig.f@MM, more then 700 mails were filtered out. It seems to us, that this virus is one of the most sucessful one in the last months. See our statistics to get a graphical view.
